Dr. Christopher Walker is a globally trained physician, pioneering surgeon, and internationally respected educator in regenerative medicine. With a professional journey spanning the Caribbean, Europe, and North America, he is recognized for advancing surgical science, innovating therapeutic applications, and championing patient-centered medicine for underserved communities.

Born and educated in Jamaica, Dr. Walker earned his medical degree from the University of the West Indies before becoming licensed to practice medicine in Jamaica, the United Kingdom, and the United States. His early training grounded him in primary care fundamentals, completing a postgraduate year in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. It was here that his passion for whole-person, holistic care began to take shape.

Dr. Walker later completed a rigorous residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, training under some of the world’s most influential clinical leaders, including Dr. Kermit Krantz, a trailblazer in pelvic reconstructive surgery, and Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, renowned endocrine specialist and Harvard-trained researcher. His residency experience laid the foundation for a distinguished surgical career characterized by precision, innovation, and advocacy.

Committed to mastery, Dr. Walker further refined his operative skills through two years at the Mid-West Laparoscopic Training Laboratory, gaining advanced laparoscopic expertise that later translated into proficiency as a robotic surgeon following specialized post-residency training at the prestigious Nicholson Center.

In 2008, Dr. Walker’s longstanding appreciation for aesthetics and artistic detail led him into cosmetic medicine. He completed specialized training as a Cosmetic Surgeon, becoming an Associate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. His professional affiliations expanded to include membership and fellowship designations in the International Society of Cosmetogynecology (ISCG), the American Society of Cosmetic Physicians, and Associate Fellowship with the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery.

Across his career, Dr. Walker has performed more than 15,000 surgical procedures, including more than 1,000 transvaginal mesh explantation and reconstructive surgeries—an achievement that positioned him as a national authority in addressing complications from vaginal mesh implants. His expertise earned him appointment as a consulting expert before the Honorable Judge Joseph Goodwin, where he advocated for countless women suffering mesh-related injury.

As regenerative medicine emerged as a transformational field, Dr. Walker became one of its earliest adopters in pelvic reconstruction. He trained with the American Academy of Regenerative Medicine and is among the few physicians qualified to offer an FDA-approved regenerative medicine procedure. By integrating biologics and cellular therapies into surgical protocols long before mainstream adoption, Dr. Walker helped redefine outcomes for chronic and complex pelvic disorders including vulvar dystrophy, pudendal neuralgia, stress urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence.

His contributions extend beyond the operating room. Dr. Walker has authored peer-reviewed research, lectured nationally and internationally, and received numerous awards for academic excellence—including the highly esteemed “Faculty Member of the Year Award” from Florida State University in 2008. He obtained board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

He also serves as faculty for the American Society of Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery and as a senior instructor for the International Society for Stem Cell Application (ISSCA)—the world’s largest physician training organization in regenerative medicine.

Beyond his clinical and academic achievements, Dr. Walker is guided by a deeply rooted humanitarian mission. He is an active member of the Women’s Health Network of Jamaica, supporting underserved women through medical care, health education, and preventive outreach. He participates in international initiatives such as the SHARES mission to Chiapas, Mexico, providing life-saving services for women with high-grade cervical dysplasia to help reduce cervical cancer in impoverished regions.

His dedication to marginalized and minority women inspired the creation of the Hazel Walker Foundation—a charitable organization committed to providing no-cost reproductive health services, educational programming, and compassionate support for women who lack access to quality care.
