With a professional journey spanning the Caribbean, Europe, and North America, he is recognized for advancing surgical science, innovating therapeutic applications, and championing patient-centered medicine for underserved communities.
Born and educated in Jamaica, Dr. Walker earned his medical degree from the University of the West Indies before becoming licensed to practice medicine in Jamaica, the United Kingdom, and the United States. His early training grounded him in primary care fundamentals, completing a postgraduate year in Family Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. It was here that his passion for whole-person, holistic care began to take shape.
Dr. Walker later completed a rigorous residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, training under some of the world’s most influential clinical leaders, including Dr. Kermit Krantz, a trailblazer in pelvic reconstructive surgery, and Dr. Valerie Montgomery Rice, renowned endocrine specialist and Harvard-trained researcher. His residency experience laid the foundation for a distinguished surgical career characterized by precision, innovation, and advocacy.
Committed to mastery, Dr. Walker further refined his operative skills through two years at the Mid-West Laparoscopic Training Laboratory, gaining advanced laparoscopic expertise that later translated into proficiency as a robotic surgeon following specialized post-residency training at the prestigious Nicholson Center.
In 2008, Dr. Walker’s longstanding appreciation for aesthetics and artistic detail led him into cosmetic medicine. He completed specialized training as a Cosmetic Surgeon, becoming an Associate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. His professional affiliations expanded to include membership and fellowship designations in the International Society of Cosmetogynecology (ISCG), the American Society of Cosmetic Physicians, and Associate Fellowship with the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery.
Across his career, Dr. Walker has performed more than 15,000 surgical procedures, including more than 1,000 transvaginal mesh explantation and reconstructive surgeries—an achievement that positioned him as a national authority in addressing complications from vaginal mesh implants. His expertise earned him appointment as a consulting expert before the Honorable Judge Joseph Goodwin, where he advocated for countless women suffering mesh-related injury.
As regenerative medicine emerged as a transformational field, Dr. Walker became one of its earliest adopters in pelvic reconstruction. He trained with the American Academy of Regenerative Medicine and is among the few physicians qualified to offer an FDA-approved regenerative medicine procedure. By integrating biologics and cellular therapies into surgical protocols long before mainstream adoption, Dr. Walker helped redefine outcomes for chronic and complex pelvic disorders including vulvar dystrophy, pudendal neuralgia, stress urinary incontinence, and fecal incontinence.
His contributions extend beyond the operating room. Dr. Walker has authored peer-reviewed research, lectured nationally and internationally, and received numerous awards for academic excellence—including the highly esteemed “Faculty Member of the Year Award” from Florida State University in 2008. He obtained board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

He is an active member of the Women’s Health Network of Jamaica, supporting underserved women through medical care, health education, and preventive outreach. He participates in international initiatives such as the SHARES mission to Chiapas, Mexico, providing life-saving services for women with high-grade cervical dysplasia to help reduce cervical cancer in impoverished regions.

I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.Posted on Suze AmellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been both a patient and friend of Dr. Christopher Walker for the last 20 years. I know him to be a man of deep faith, always walking with God by his side. I know and can vouch for his character. As a physician and friend, Dr. Walker always takes time to listen. He gears his practice to functional medicine, listening and learning about the patient to assess the underlying cause rather than jump to medical conclusions that involve writing prescriptions that just mask or band aid the issue or sentencing the patient to surgery. Dr. Walker is not about Big Pharma, he is about healing his patients from the inside out. Dr. Walker, and his staff, take all the time you need to be sure all questions and concerns are addressed. He never rushes his patients. He willingly shares his story on how he came to learn so much about stem cells. Recently I came to see Dr. Walker (Dr. Chris as his patients call him) because of severe knee pain issues. My orthopedic doctor has been injecting me with cortisone for some time now and pushing me towards a total knee replacements in both knees. I am searching for a more homeopathic solution, not an invasive solution, that will render this very active 71-year-old useless and out of business for 6 months to a year! During my visit, I shared all my anxieties and concerns with Dr. Walker. He warmly shared that there were other options available… a valid alternative to knee replacements. Dr. Walker shared his extensive knowledge and research on use of stem cells as a means of regenerating cells. This alternative would regenerate my joints, grow back the missing cartilage, reduce swelling, and remove the pain….with NO SIDE EFFECTS and NO DOWN TIME… simply by using my own blood cells. May I share that this really was a No Brainer!!! I came back the next day. His Lab Assistant drew my blood, spun it there to separate the serum from the blood cells and Dr. Walker injected my own serum into my knee joints. Dr. Walker was with me the entire time. Within seconds, I started moving my knees back and forth. Dr. Walker watched as I was able to walk swiftly down the hallway… PAIN FREE! I have now had my second set of injections in both knees. I recognize the shape of my knees again and am delighted to see them return! I am proudly moving through yoga positions, pain free, with the ease and grace I once had. I will continue with the next few series of injections until released and will no longer live under the threat of the need for any surgical procedure on my knees. In my past profession as a property manager in healthcare, I have worked with and experienced the interactions of many physicians. That said, I have to share that as I observe Dr. Walker interacting with other patients, I see only a calm, caring, courteous, kind, extremely knowledgeable, and professional man; a doctor who never rushes his patients…or his staff for that matter. Dr. Chris Walker is not about money. He is more about sharing his knowledge to help others. Case in point: I whined to Dr. Chris about a long-time bladder issue that has kept me closer to home than anyone would want. Out of the goodness of his heart, and as the pay-it-forward man that he is, Dr. Walker helped me with my bladder problems. Now that the bladder is under control, and my knee pain is gone, I plan to get out there and enjoy the life God has given me. Who knows, I may even start dating again! There are very few doctors in this day and time that will get down on the level of the patients and give the kind of care that is needed, starting with looking at the whole person. Dr. Chris Walker is one of those tiny few. I will forever be his loyal patient.Posted on Tammy CuddyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I have been seeing Dr Walker for about 4 months now, I originally came in as I was experiencing blood in the urine, I was sent to urologist......but every urologist I called was booked for 3 months. It was suggested I find a UroGyno, that was when I found Dr Walker. From my first call to the office, my experience was greeted with professional, kind and caring staff. We did a natural peptide procedure on my bladder, at time I was inflammed and very red and irritaion, today we checked bladder to see normal color and very healthy bladder. We also started doing horomone replacement. I am on pellet therapy which has helped stop menopause symptoms....including weight gain. I have dropped the few pounds I gained and have been able to maintain. I am very happy with the attention and care and results to all of my concerns. Dr Walker also performs treatments using stem cells. I will be back to let you know how that turns out. My knees are deteriorating. I am refusing to do knee replacement so I'm opting to do stem cell as a natural cure. Let's not forget that you can get IV vitamin drip in office. As well as his staff can help keep you young and gorgeous. Maria does the vampire facial, if you don't know what that is look it up. The results are 10 times better than microneedling alone. There are so many natural health remedies and beauty regimens offered here. I'm only giving you what he has done for me as a female. But men listen up. He can help you too. I promise you won't regret picking up the phone and making that first appointment to see how Dr Walker and his team can help you reach your health and beauty care. Live long and live strong.Posted on Isabel MunozTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just want to say how amazing Dr Walker and his staff were with me. I went to several doctors before choosing Dr. Walker’s services. It was his kindness, patience and thoroughness that were the deciding factor. I am very pleased with his results and have recommended several of my friends who are also very pleased with their results. I would highly recommend his services.Posted on Patricia VTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’m so glad I got to hear from Dr. Walker and his whole staff.
